Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser

Dr. Sherber has given rave reviews of this product in Teen Vogue and to so many patients.  This multitasking product that can be used as a cleanser, but also delivers terrific results as a mask.  Dr. Sherber recommends first cleansing with a gentle cleanser to remove sunscreen or makeup, patting the skin dry, and then applying 2-3 pumps of this glycolic acid gel to the face (neck and chest can be treated, too).  Depending on the intensity of exfoliation intended, you can leave this on for 30 seconds up to several minutes.  Then, buff the skin with a FOREO Pro or a clean damp washcloth to remove dead skin cells, and cleanse again to ensure that all of the Bioglycolic has been removed.  Your skin will feel smooth immediately, and will also reap the long term benefits of enhanced absorption of active ingredients and moisturizers, increased skin cell turnover and collagen production, diminished uneven pigmentation, and reduction in breakouts.
